Worthy in the Workplace
Worthy in the Workplace was born out of the Worthy course. Because of the high unemployment rate in South Africa it is very difficent for non-skilled people to get jobs. Therefore we aim to EQUIP women through job-creation programmes, as well as skills development. At the moment we empower the women through sewing projects and out of this a brand new "company" saw the light.
"Where's my Pillow" had it's humble beginning through a need for luxury, affordable pillows for hospitality industry. We saw the possibilities of making our own pillows for the industry and thereby fill a niss in the market, in the same way creating job opportunities, for making as welll as selling the pillows ... and it is a winner!
Please help Anastacia
While distributing school clothes and shoes at small farm school, in Ladismith, WC, Royal Kidz NPO, met a young girl of 11 years old, Anastacia, who has lymphedema in her left leg.
The girl suffer from severe infection and wounds, as a result of the fact that she have to walk
barefoot to school everyday,
not able wear a shoe on her
infected foot.
Immediately, after we heard
about Anastacia's condition, we
called some medici, working in
the field of wound healing and
lymph massage, to get help for
her.
In the meanwhile Stacey visited Cape Town for consultions and we
were connected with a general surgeon. We are still waiting from him to hear what action to be taken to help this girl. We believe that this girl is entitled to a perfectly normal and
healthy life. God can do the impossible.
Through His help we are busy getting donations for the costs towards her medical costs.
